Step back into the nostalgic charm of summer camp with the added depth of personal growth and community connection as we celebrate 10 incredible years of the Outdoor Journal Tour and the beautiful We Hike to Heal community!

Held on a property that once served as a Girl Scout summer camp, our retreat is infused with the spirit of adventure, camaraderie, and nature-immersion that makes camp experiences unforgettable.

We Hike to Heal Campout + Retreat offers women the chance to disconnect from the everyday, find grounding in nature, and build lasting bonds with like-minded women.

Over three days, we’ll explore themes of resilience, reflection, and collective support. From guided hikes and meditation sessions to empowering workshops and evening campfires, each part of the retreat is crafted to foster inner peace, insight, and authentic connection. Expect classic summer camp vibes—shared bunkhouses, cozy communal meals, and evenings around the fire—balanced with moments of personal renewal and meaningful growth.

Our theme, "Journey Within, Adventure Together," invites you to honor your individual path while finding strength in shared experiences and community. Whether you’re seeking a peaceful reset, deeper connection, or a return to the simple joys of camp, this weekend offers space to recharge, reflect, and celebrate the unique journey of our community.

• Guided Hikes: Explore scenic trails and reconnect with yourself amid nature’s beauty.
• Wellness Workshops: Engage in sessions designed to inspire, uplift, and empower your mental and emotional wellness.
• Meditation & Mindfulness Practices: Discover grounding techniques to center yourself in the present.
• Evening Campfires: Relax under the stars and gather around the fire, sharing stories, laughter, and inspiration.
• Connection Circles: Participate in group circles that deepen bonds and encourage storytelling and growth.
• On-Site Chef: Enjoy delicious, nourishing meals prepared by our on-site chef, ensuring you’re fueled for every adventure.
• Private Lake Access: Unwind by the water or take a moment to reflect at the camp’s private lake, exclusive to retreat attendees.
• Swag Bags: Each participant will receive a swag bag filled with premium gear from our sponsors, valued at over $250.
• Exclusive One-on-One Sessions (optional add-on): Reserve a two-hour, one-on-one session with Michelle Jackson-Saulters, Executive Director, for personalized guidance following the retreat.

Each registration includes all activities, workshops, and meals, plus a swag bag filled with gear from our sponsors! Select from a variety of accommodations, each adding its own flavor to the camp-inspired atmosphere:

• Rustic Hut: A screened cabin with bunk beds for four, electrical outlets, and nearby access to the communal bathhouse.
• DIY Camping Spot: Bring your own tent and gear to set up your personal camping space for the weekend.
• Bunk House: Fully indoor bunk house with air conditioning, a shared bathroom, and room for 10 women in extra-large twin beds.
• Glamp Camp (Single and Double Occupancy): Spacious cabin-style tent with REI Kingdom cots and access to charging stations for a blend of comfort and adventure.

Airport Shuttle/Carpool Info:

For our out of town guests flying into Hartsfield Jackson Airport (ATL):

• Shuttle will depart from the Domestic Terminal South at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport at 11am EST on Friday, June 20th with arrival at the Campsite around 12:30pm EST. The return shuttle will depart the campground at 11:30am on Sunday, June 22nd to return you to Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport by 1pm EST.
• The roundtrip cost is $165 per person - from Eventbrite, click on tickets and scroll down to the add-on section

For our local folks:

• We've added the Carpool Forum for people either offering a ride or looking for one
• You have the option to add yourself as a driver if you have space in your vehicle and would like to offer a lift, or if you need a ride you can add yourself to the ride waitlist in hopes that a spot will come available
